My varied experience includes:

  • Creating websites since 1999 to promote my own artwork as well as sites for my corporate day jobs, mostly in the design industry.

  • More than 20 years spent marketing in the architecture and design community.

  • Nearly 10 years as the Director of Marketing of a national art consulting firm.

  • Over 8 years as a Retail Manager at a contemporary craft gallery.

  • Small business owner and co-collaborator of the best sandbox for testing marketing and design ideas (and a thriving business in its own right), Dirigible Designs.

  • A degree in Fine Arts (Metalsmithing) from Syracuse University.

My factoids:

  • Born and raised in upstate NY in the Hudson Valley.

  • Reared in a family of home economics teachers and SCUBA divers.

  • Growing up, my favorite musicians were Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Donna Summer, and The Village People. (this sums it all up, right?)

  • I moved to Houston in 2006 after spending a decade in Boston.

  • I have two cats and a life partner, Blake.

  • Blake and I travel around the country with Dirigible Designs and solve mysteries (or sell jewelry at art shows which ever comes first.)
