Website Services

While all of the websites I create are unique to your needs, the following guide is a general outline of what you can expect.

Philosophy

I believe that a well-designed website means online visitors won’t notice your website. Your work, images, and services should be at the forefront and the design of your website is there to support and reinforce those things. A well-designed website should be easy and intuitive to use by you and your users. This means I design websites that are uncluttered, direct, and easy to navigate.

Color and hover effects are best when used as a user interface tool making your website easier to read and operate. When I design a website I think about my clients technical skills and the ease, or desire, of maintaining that site in the future. Understanding your goals, vision, and wishes for your new website is an important step that we will discuss during our first call/visit.

The following is a simple “what may happen” for most website projects:

Week 1 | Kick-off

Goals, vision & timeline
Content collection

Week 2 | Draft Design

First draft is created
Address missing content

Week 3 | Final Design

Review final changes
SEO & image optimization

Week 4 | Publish

Hook up the domain
Transfer ownership to you!

MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS

Because my clients are so diverse in their website needs, one-size fits all maintenance agreements don’t really work for me. If you anticipate needing my help for future updates we can plan out a maintenance schedule that works best for your content or I can give you an hourly estimate for the work you need done at that time.

HOURLY FEES

I want your website to be perfect and sometimes that includes things we don’t plan for or periodic updates. After your website is published updates and revisions will be charged at an hourly rate of $95/hour.
