Grackle and Grackle is a well-known Houston organization hosting writing workshops and professional coaching for emerging and established writers. With a busy, constantly evolving workshop schedule, they needed a website that was easy to manage and update, yet also one that reflected the artistic quirkiness of the accomplished creatives behind it while maintaining clean, simple visual branding. We used hover effects that recall highlighters and sprinkled grackle pictures in hidden places as tiny easter eggs for their users.
