Clarifying the Language I use in The Foundry Template
The term Gallery and Portfolio are used as Containers in Squarespace. This is different than what we as artists think of when we hear those words. I tried to be consistant in the template with these terms. When you see “Gallery” in the pages, it refers to the fact that we are using a Gallery container system. It does not mean that this is the page where you enter information about where you sell artwork. That is the Stockist page. I tried hard to be clear. I also made this handy explanation sheet for you to download.
Image Optimization Checklist
I created this worksheet to walk you through the image prep process. This is my process for images optimization for my sites and the sites I make for clients.
