Adding PDFs and Downloadable Files:
PDFs are added via the link/file option — not through the asset library (Squarespace hasn't added PDF support there yet)
How to add a PDF link:
Add a button or text link → click the link icon → select "File" → upload your PDF
Always set to open in a new tab so visitors keep your site open
All uploaded PDFs appear in the file list each time you go to attach a file — you can rename, download, or delete them from there
To swap a PDF — remove the existing link, go back to file, and select or upload the new one
Keep PDF file sizes small — large PDFs will slow down your site just like oversized images
